The Role
The General Manager will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the company’s non-production operations. The role is pivotal in delivering business objectives related to profitability, service, brand reputation, and future growth. This position requires a highly commercial, strategically minded leader who can manage key functions including business planning, finance, administration, HR, customer relationships, and corporate compliance.

Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to drive operational excellence, market leadership, and sustainable business growth.
Identify and exploit new market opportunities, partnerships, and emerging technologies.
Create and manage the annual business plan and operating budget.
Oversee daily business operations across administration, finance, sales, and quality functions.
Drive profitability through margin improvement initiatives and operational cost efficiencies.
Take ownership of commercial strategy including pricing models, customer agreements, and contract negotiations.
Proactively identify and manage legal, financial, and operational risks.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.

The Person
Seeking an outstanding General Manager who can drive strategic, commercial, and operational excellence across non-production areas of the business.

Proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Operations/Commercial Manager within a technical or manufacturing environment.
Strong track record of commercial management, business development, pricing strategy, and margin control.
Demonstrated success leading non-production support areas including HR, finance, and administration.
Excellent strategic thinking skills and the ability to translate long-term vision into practical, actionable plans.
Financial literacy with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and commercial KPIs.
Effective leadership, coaching ability, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Resilient, adaptable, and results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline preferred (but not essential).
